Data Disclaimer
The official record belongs to the DBPR
Inspection results shown on Candor Dining are public records published by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR). The DBPR’s portal is the authoritative source; if this site and the state record ever disagree, the state record controls. Every restaurant page links to the official portal so you can check.
Summaries are interpretations, not grades
The high / medium / low concern bands are generated by Candor Dining from the severity and recency of documented findings. Florida does not issue letter grades, and no state agency reviews or endorses these summaries. A concern band is a reading aid — a reason to open the underlying record — never a verdict on a restaurant.
Data is a snapshot, and snapshots age
Inspections describe conditions on one day. Restaurants fix findings, follow-up visits happen, ownership changes, and places close or reopen. Candor Dining synchronizes with the state’s published files nightly, but a short lag between an inspector’s visit and publication is normal, and an occasional source-file error is possible. Each page shows when its data was last refreshed.
Not health or legal advice
Nothing on this site is medical, health, safety, or legal advice. If you have concerns about a specific establishment, contact the DBPR; for foodborne-illness concerns, contact your county health department.

Tell us through the
